The Millikan girls soccer team defeated Downey by a score of 3-2 yesterday. Despite a rocky start to the year, the girls looked like they may be turning a corner based on a 2nd half come from behind win. Goals by Ryley Bedard, Harley Wade, and Emily Tamayo put the Rams (2-2-1) on top for good. This was Downey’s (0-1-0) first game of the season. Coach Nunez says the his girls “have the talent”, and they believe they can make a significant impact this year in the Moore League. League play starts next week. Good luck and go Rams!
