The Millikan Varsity Baseball team will get going in league play tonight against Wilson at Blair Field, 6:00pm. This game was rescheduled to an earlier date due to conflicting tournament schedules. The Rams and Bruins were co-league champs last season along with Lakewood. 2017 was the first year since 1997 that three teams shared the title. Millikan has plenty of talent to get the job done with several returning players and strong new comers. The Rams are currently 4-3 overall finishing 2-2 in the very tough Loara Tournament. Both losses in the tournament were to Division 1 ranked teams (Aliso Niguel, and Servite respectively). They were scheduled to finish the tournament with Santa Margarita, but that game was canceled due to rain. Wilson is beginning league with a 3-3-1 record overall.
