On another cool, and slightly rainy night, the Rams squared off against the Wilson Bruins for early control of the Moore League. The game was not a clean one for either team, and that is not surprising given how early they played in the year. All of that said, the Rams rose from a 2-1 deficit in the 6th to a 4-2 lead heading to the bottom. The bats woke up a bit in the 6th inning, where after an error by Wilson allowed a Millikan runner, consecutive hits by Bey, Barrientos, and Guzman put the Rams on top 4-2. Wilson would add one in the bottom of the 7th but Millikan would hold on to win the game. The Rams sit atop of the league at 1-0, and improve their overall record to 5-3. Millikan will play a double header on Thursday in non-league action against Trabuco Hills High School in Orange County.
