Rams News · Millikan Girls Volleyball Show of Strength

Rams,

Your girls volleyball program has had a solid run thus far this year. All three levels have brought home some hardware in various tournaments this year. The JV AND FS took 1st place in the 3rd degree tournament, and the varsity took home the Consolation trophy in the Tae Kim Molten Classic. The varsity, though ranked #5 in the CIF top 10 this year in division 3, will have a rough road ahead. They took a narrow loss to Wilson, and were swept by perennial powerhouses Lakewood and Poly earlier in the season. The Rams defeated Wilson last year for the first time in 10 years, and has one more crack at each of those schools when the 2nd half of Moore League starts. If the Rams can hold on to a playoff spot, they have a solid chance of advancing in the playoffs given that they will not face any of the top Moore League competition. Great start and let’s keep it rolling!
